ITINERARY
The tour starts from your hotel where we will take you to the long tail boat pier and ride down the Mae Kok River by long-tailed speed boat and enjoy the splendid scenery on both sides of the river.
You arrive at the Karen Hilltribes Village where the elephant camp lies. Historically, the Karens have always been a good Elephant Keeper/Trainer. Enjoy your ride through the jungle, passing through the rice paddy fields and the rivers. This ride takes about 2 hours to the Yao Hilltribes village for lunch. Next you will be taken to visit the Yao and Akha Hilltribes, both of whom have their own culture & custom. Hike up to the waterfall. If you like, you can take a dip. On the way home, you will stop by the Chiang Rai Handicraft Center, famous for its celadon pottery and cotton fashion. Sometimes demonstrations are available.
